A error 67 usually means that your data credentials for logging onto the sprint network are corrupted. You will not be able to correct this issue by updating the profile or prl. This issue is corrected by a data restore. This action is performed by Sprints customer service and is very simple to do. From the device you will punch in ##3282#. A prompt will pop up asking for the MSL.. The MSL is a six digit programming code that you will need to get from sprints customer service. Once you have entered the correct MSL in you will see some options come up. You will want to tap on the section that says data profile. Once you are in data profile you will hit your menu button and select the option restore. The device will power cycle then come back up. The error code 67 should be gone. If not then you will need to contact sprint customer service from a alternate phone number. Have the device giving the error code 67 turned off and the battery out. Request sprint customer service to send OTA refreshments to the device. Turn the device back on and then update the data profile.

On a call to Sprint today, they said that for some phones you could dial ##72786# and it would work better.
That being said, also be sure to go through the steps Patrick laid out in his post about this same issue

This is the way it worked for me. I tried the first method, but the phone got stuck on the hands-free activation screen. The ##72786# was the one that finally did it for me, though. You type that in, then press the menu button and RESET.

The second option really worked for me easily. There were two devices (LG Venice) on Boost network.
Trying to port phone numbers from sprint to Boost, poped up message "update Profile">>> since then phones had error code 67 on the screen. It did not go away. Then we dialed ##72786#. Both phones rebooted and then worked just fine.

Phone had no service & showed only error 67 after a master reset.
Great info, thanks I tried both options but the second one worked on a ZTE Warp Boost Mobile phone:
Enter: ##72786# & MSL
After searching for updates the phone was active again, receiving/making calls & browsing the web.
Thanks for the info

Just adding to the valuable info Boomer provided.
An error 67 means that device is not passing authentication through your network service provider. As a result phone can't connect to the Internet. An error 67 can also result in loss of picture mail and other messaging services. The most important thing to remember is to not make several attempts to connect to the Internet while experiencing an error 67. This may cause your device to be suspended from the network for a 20 minute period.
Virgin Mobile phone doesn't request MSL but MSID instead
Press Cell Phone
Replace MSID numbers with the ones provided by Virgin Mobile
Phone will reboot & hopefully ready to go

That's correct. However sometimes the code alone is not what will fix the phone. I've had many calls before where people receive this error on Sprint/Virgin/Boost phones and when I transferred them to the carrier and followed up with them, they said the reason was because they had a block on their service. This can often happen with people who use older basic phones with optional web browsing and then they upgrade to a smart phone with required web browsing. Also happens for text messages as well.
