Perform a Master Reset
- A master reset will result in the loss of all data stored on the device including 3rd party applications.
This type of reset should only be used as a last resort after all other troubleshooting steps have been exhausted. It is highly recommended that you complete a backup of the device information before proceeding with the steps in this tutorial.
From the home screen, press the Menu key. - Tap Settings.
- Scroll to and tap Privacy.
- Tap Factory data reset.
-
Tap Reset phone.
Note: To erase the contents of the memory card during the reset, scroll to and tap to select Erase SD card. Once content has been removed from the memory card, it cannot be recovered.
-
Tap Erase everything.
The handset will completely reset and restart.

Before you Master Reset your phone, please remember to create a backup of all information you don't want to lose before you begin the process. It's a simple process that can save a lot of headache.
For your contacts, you can go to contacts > menu button > more > Import/Export and send them to your SD card.
Pictures, are usually saved there by default, but can also be emailed to yourself.
