Is your Nokia Lumia 920 not charging anymore?? Not turning on!? No matter what you do, does nothing seem to work?
Well, luckily, the steps below will fix your issue! What needs to happen is a 'soft-reset' must be done!
-Press and hold VOLUME DOWN & POWER button for 10 seconds.
-Connect to charger after you see the initial 'NOKIA' Logo flash on your screen.
You will now be able to charge and reboot your phone successfully!
This can be fixed by turning your device off more frequently, or doing this 'soft-reset' once a week!

I had one of these stuck in a boot loop and we couldn't power it down using any means, including the above instructions. Volume Down + Power + Camera, then let go of all of them when the phone vibrated. That rebooted the phone without wiping anything.

First, let's verify that we're using the original charging cable that came with the phone. If not, please purchase a manufacturer approved cable.
Now let's inspect the charging cable and the the port. Is any debris inside the port or blocking the cable? Even a small piece of lint that is blocking the connection is enough to prevent the phone from charging.
Let's try a different outlet. Sometimes the outlet isn't working. Now let's plug the phone in and verify that the connection at both ends are firm and secure.
If it's plugged into a surge protector, let's verify that the surge protector is on.
If it's plugged into an outlet that's controlled by a wall switch, let's verify that the wall switch is on.
The adapter could be faulty. Let's try using a different, manufacturer approved adapter. The adapter is the the part that the cable plugs into before it's plugged into the wall outlet.
Now let's try charging it for an hour. If the battery is over a year old, it might be that the battery needs to be replaced.
