Device: Pantech Breeze III and other Pantech Devices such as the Burst & Hotshot.
Issue:Callers cannot hear device user , voice sounds far away , echoey or muffled.
The Breeze III has a primary microphone below the keypad as well as a secondary microphone next to the exterior screen.
As with any other device where callers are unable to hear the device user, you first should verify there is nothing blocking or covering the microphone such as a protective case or screen cover.
More specifically to the Breeze III, you want to place the device into 'Advanced mode' in order to reveal additional settings that cannot be found within 'Breeze Mode". If you need help with this, check out this post:
Once 'Advanced Mode' is enabled, Select Menu > Settings > Profile.
Here you can select from: Normal, Vibrate & Ring, Vibrate Only, Silent, Flight mode or Noise Suppression.
Select Noise Suppression & toggle it on/off depending on the current settings.
Place some test calls to check for sound quality improvement after making this adjustment.
If the above steps do not help the situation, be sure to soft reset and check for available software updates before moving onto a master reset to rule out any potential software issues.
