After having the Galaxy Note for a little over a week now I noticed that the S-Pen interaction on the screen was a little off. I searched to web trying to find some way to calibrate the S-Pen. But the good news is, that I have found a solution.
The first thing you want to do is to make sure that your Pen Settings are set correctly.
From the Home Screen tap on Menu > Settings > Pen Settings: And choose "Left handed" or "Right Handed".
Once that is set exit to the Home Screen of the phone.
Open the Phone Application (If not available from the Home Screen you will find it in the Application Drawer). You will then want to select the "Dial" pad tab listed at the too.
This will take you to the "LCD Test" screen.
Select "S-Pen Test".
Now here is where it gets a little tricky. What you need to do is run your S-Pen through all of the squares on the screen until they are all green. One you have turned all the boxes green you will see a PASS or FAIL notification on the screen.
Note: I did not see a immediate change in the performance, but after completing repeating these steps four times in different patterns I did see a huge difference. Try highlighting the boxes in different patterns each time you do it.
If you are looking for more options to calibrate your device there is a app on the market called ILITEK Touch Utility that will allow you to do all different types of calibrations.
